Foundronics
The company and this website. It runs the marketing and partner engine for partner-led technology companies.
One plain definition for each name and term we use. If a word on another page is unclear, it should be here.

The company and this website. It runs the marketing and partner engine for partner-led technology companies.
The public, versioned method for being the answer when buyers and AI assistants look. It has five letters: Findable, Opinions, Underdog Moves, Nods and Distinctions. Your CMO owns it.
The formula for seven marketing motions that bring buyers to you beyond your own team: Digital demand, Referrals and resellers, Owned content, Networks and alliances, Influence, Community and Sales enablement. Your CMO owns it, with your channel head.
One of the twelve parts of FOUND (five) and DRONICS (seven). Each letter has one agent, one page on /letters and one learning path in the Academy.
A written specification for one letter: what it takes in, what it checks, drafts, maps or records, what it hands on and where a person must approve. An agent never acts outside the company without approval.
For now, an agent that plans across the twelve letters and checks each draft another agent has made. It never checks its own work and never approves; the CMO approves. A named human strategist is planned, not yet in place.
A letter when it is scored. FOUND has five dimensions and DRONICS has seven; the two scores are never added together.
The kind of marketing work a DRONICS letter covers, such as digital demand or community. Each DRONICS letter is one motion.
Who you sell through, such as a reseller, distributor or system integrator. Partner types are not letters; they are handled inside Referrals and resellers, Networks and alliances and Sales enablement.
The Foundronics measurement workspace, where answers from AI assistants are recorded and checked. It is a tool, not a product we sell on its own.
The free, open set of learning paths and self-assessments on this site, one for each letter. It needs no sign-in and stores nothing you answer.
An outline of a possible certification, shown as a roadmap. No certificate is offered and nobody is certified.
The score for the five FOUND dimensions, to be calculated by code, not by an AI, from the published rubric. The calculation is not built yet, and the score is a diagnosis, not a forecast of revenue.
The published description of what good looks like for each FOUND dimension, with its scoring rubric and limits. The current version is 0.1.
How often, and how well, a company appears in AI answers to the questions a buyer asks. It is reported in parts (inclusion, recommendation, citation, accuracy and competitive wins), never folded into one number.
How far a result can be trusted. Grade C is exploratory, B is directional and A is decision-grade; a reviewer may lower a grade but not raise it.
A limited check of one company, one buying situation and one market. Every exploratory result is Grade C by design.
A fixed-scope assessment of one company, judged by people and open to correction. It includes the sampled answers, the evidence found and a 90-day plan.
The smallest piece of work that closes the evidence gap that matters most, done after a verified assessment.
The approved, versioned set of facts about your company that answers are checked against. A person approves each material fact.
The five stages a letter moves through. FOUND runs from Invisible to Category reference; DRONICS runs from Unaware to Demand engine.
The label on any claim about what the site can do today: Live, Demonstration or Not built yet. Only Live capabilities are described without qualification.
A tool that answers a question in words, with sources, instead of listing pages. ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity are examples of the type.
Search engine optimisation: making a page easy for a search engine to rank. The aim is a place in a list of results.
Generative engine optimisation: making a company easy for an AI assistant to name and describe correctly. The aim is a place in the answer itself.
The person who runs sales through partners, such as resellers and distributors. DRONICS is owned jointly by the CMO and the channel head.
Selling together with a partner, for example with a cloud marketplace or an ecosystem partner, so that both sides share the account and the credit.
An arrangement where another company builds your product or technology into its own offer.
A company that sells a large part of its product through partners, not only through its own sales team.
